Job Opportunities

Join Santos GLNG at the forefront of a new and exciting industry for Queensland.

Our world-class gas business is a joint venture with some of the world’s biggest energy companies, PETRONAS, Total, and KOGAS.

Together, we have brought thousands of jobs to Queensland to develop our gas fields and build our pipeline and LNG facilities. With our construction work more than 90 per cent complete, we are now recruiting for long-term operations staff.

We will continue to require about 1,000 ongoing operations roles to help us safely and reliably deliver LNG shipments from 2015.

Roles are based in Brisbane, Gladstone, or Roma, and include the following fields:

  • Engineering – chemical, completions, drilling, mechanical, petroleum, process and reservoir engineers.
  • Geoscience – a range of geologist and geophysicist roles.
  • Operations – fitters, operators, laboratory analysts, and operations support.
  • Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability – office and field-based environment, health, safety, and sustainability roles.
  • Corporate – human resources, legal, commercial, procurement, finance, communications, IT, administration and roles.

We have also committed $25 million to training initiatives to date, and will continue to provide exciting opportunities for school and university graduates and Indigenous Australians. Explore your options below.
